An effective approach to safety and risk management
Our health and safety advisors make certain our clients adopt an effective approach to safety, compliance and risk management. Our teams are fully conversant with the Construction Design and Management Regulations, and provide their trusted health and safety expertise on projects across all sectors of the construction industry. Our knowledge and integrated health and safety management systems are recognised and certified through OHSAS 18001 and SSIP, including with the Association of Project Safety and CHAS.
As health and safety consultants in risk management, our team can provide a CDM consultancy role to clients and designers, by:
- Assisting any designer, appointed as Principal Designer, who does not have the required in-house resource or expertise to plan, manage and coordinate health and safety
- Advising/assisting clients on their obligations under the CDM 2015 Regulations, including compliance advice to check that Principal Designers and Principal Contractors are carrying out their respective duties
We ensure our clients have an effective approach to safety and risk management, which can include assuming the role of Principal Designer and Competent Person (as defined by the Management Regulations and referenced in the CDM Regulations).
