Stokewood Leisure Centre, Bournemouth

A partnership project to improve the public health and well-being facilities at Stokewood Leisure Centre in Bournemouth reached a key milestone on the expansion of this popular community hub.

Commissioned by Bournemouth Borough Council, Rund Partnership acted as Employer’s Agent and Principal Designer on these improvements, which created a larger gym with more space for new equipment and QUAD functional fitness zones.

Stokewood is managed by BH Live in partnership with Bournemouth Borough Council. BH Live is the south coast’s leading operator of leisure and event venues. It is also a charitable trust and social enterprise which focuses on making a positive social impact to the health, wellbeing and economic prosperity of its communities.

Rund Partnership’s involvement at Stokewood continues our positive and successful working relationship with BH Live following the completion of works at Littledown, Bournemouth and our appointment to oversee works at BH Live Active, Corfe Mullen.
