Long-term client, Network Homes, has selected Rund Partnership as dedicated Clerk of Works for a new residential project in Perivale, London, continuing our delivery of dedicated professional services.
The Bilton Road development will include 105 new homes. 17 units will be London Affordable Rent, offering a rate comparable to social rent. 46 units will be created under the London Living Rent scheme, which offers rent costs based on a third of average household incomes – allowing Londoners to save for a deposit to purchase a shared ownership home. A further 42 homes will be created for shared ownership use.
The Bilton Road development will appeal to a range of different affordable housing needs, ultimately helping more people get onto the housing ladder. It is imperative that the quality in construction is consistent across these different tenures, so our Clerk of Works services will be indispensable to help assure Network Homes that high standards are being met.
Our dedicated Clerk of Works team will provide in-house expertise in Mechanical & Electrical and Fire Stopping services, ensuring specific project elements meet contractual and legal requirements. Our scope of work will also include reviewing designs and drawings to identify any potential conflicts pre-construction, as well as inspecting and cross-checking construction works with drawings and specifications.
In addition to its high-quality offering, the Bilton Road development will be ideally located within a 10-15 minute walk of Alperton and Perivale tube stations, as well as local shops and amenities. The development will also sit in the Southall housing zone – a dedicated £1.55bn regeneration project by the government, aiming to deliver a total of 1,786 affordable homes.
