Rund Partnership is appointed by Clarion Housing Group to provide its exceptional Clerk of Works services across two sites, as part of a £90 million partnership deal with developer London Square. The deal involves the delivery of 100 per cent affordable housing.
Neasden Lane, located in North West London, is one of the sites and involves the redevelopment of a former office building and vehicle repair warehouse into 121 homes. The homes will feature mixed brick facades and private gardens in low-rise blocks, with a split between affordable rented and shared ownership tenures. Works will also include the creation of office space, with additional landscaping at street level.
London Square will deliver the project and is known for its best-in-class developments, with its partnership with Clarion Housing Group unlocking much-needed high-quality housing at accessible price points. Our Clerk of Works service is fundamental for ensuring quality standards remain a top priority throughout development.
The project is benefitting from our highly regarded quality monitoring procedures, efficient handover procedures and our effective aftercare service. Our commitment to delivering high standards of quality in construction will be prevalent throughout the entire build process.
Our scope of work includes frequent site inspections to oversee and manage the developer’s performance, identifying and mitigating any risks and defects. Our work also involves checking the quality of building materials and workmanship against specifications, as well as compiling detailed reports of work.
The project will be delivered by both Clarion Housing Group and London Square Partners, the developer’s division focusing on working with registered housing providers in the public sector.
Rund Partnership is also appointed as Clerk of Works at a second site in Charter Square, Staines-upon-Thames, as part of the partnership deal between Clarion Housing Group and London Square.
