Through Richard’s personality and hands-on approach, Richard leads Rund Partnership as Managing Director in a highly engaging and proactive manner.
With over 20 years’ experience in the property and construction industry, Richard’s experience extends across the commercial and residential sectors as a building surveyor and employer’s agent.
Richard has previously spent part of his career as a Development Project Manager for a leading registered housing provider, meaning that he has first-hand experience in managing both refurbishment and new-build projects.
Paul manages our Southampton office, and is directly involved in running projects on behalf of a variety of clients across the South of England to provide his in-depth knowledge and experience to ensure a successful project.
As a Chartered Quantity Surveyor, Paul leads our cost consultancy services and works with clients, and other professionals, from initial feasibility through to project completion.
Paul has a wealth of knowledge with over 25 years’ experience in the property and construction industry, with particular expertise in commercial and residential developments.
Paul leads our London office creating the strategy and vision for its development and growth. Paul’s attention-to-detail benefits clients from his involvement in small residential schemes to multi-million pound initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, phasing and elements of developments. Paul believes in working as a team to utilise strengths and resources to overcome challenges, providing continuity of service and ultimately a successful project.
As a Chartered Building Surveyor, Paul has extensive experience in both new-build and refurbishment works, including acting as project manager, designer and contract administrator on projects within the commercial and education sectors. Paul is well-versed in planning, coordinating and managing construction projects from their inception through to completion.
As well as having worked as a Building Surveyor on a wide range of projects for both local authorities and housing associations, Martha has over 10 years’ social housing development experience. Martha is an experienced Project Manager and Employer’s Agent and coordinates the company’s quality assurance and compliance processes under the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 18001 standards.
Philip is a Chartered Building Surveyor with wide-ranging experience across the residential, education and healthcare sectors.
In conjunction with colleagues, Philip provides Employer’s Agent and Project Management services for multi-million pound mixed-use residential schemes. Philip is experienced in managing complex development sites and overcoming the challenges of site abnormals, phased delivery and engagement with multiple stakeholders.
His background, as a Building Surveyor, ensures that Philip is well-versed in neighbourly matters and he is able to provide a keen focus on build quality.
Rob is based at our Southampton office and oversees the Surveying and Clerk of Works team.
Rob achieved membership of the Institute of Clerk of Works and Construction Inspectorate in 2010, he is Vice Chairman of the Southern Chapter and CPD Officer for the Institute. He also assists on the interview panel for membership and achieved associate member of the RICS in 2011.
Rob is well-versed in the contract administration and Employer’s Agent roles, as well as defect analysis and undertaking site inspections on a wide range of new-build and refurbishment schemes in the residential, commercial, health and education sectors.
Adrian leads our growing Building Surveying Team in Southampton.
Adrian has over 40 years’ experience dealing with property construction, extension, improvement, maintenance, repair, redevelopment, survey, management and valuation across all sectors. Adrian focuses on getting the job done right first time.
Adrian is a keen amateur historian and has published articles and provided briefing papers to English Heritage.
Managing Clerk of Works
Colin manages our Clerk of Works team overseeing new-build projects as quality control and assurance for the client, checking compliance with specifications, snagging and handing over of completed properties. Colin has over 27 years in the construction industry as a works foreman, trade supervisor and Clerk of Works.
Colin has achieved a trio of accreditations, including being a Chartered Construction Manager, a CABE accredited Chartered Building Engineer and he is also NEBOSH accredited.
Principal Design Manager
Nima heads our team of Principal Designers, managing the design of buildings and with an industry-leading process, directs health and safety principles that underpin safe construction and use. Nima is experienced in procurement, design development, risk management and further provides executive-level legal advice to all our partners ensuring mitigation strategies are implemented.
Having achieved Membership of the Chartered Society of Designers and an active board member of design management committee – DIOHAS, Nima has extensive experience in Urban Design, Project Management and BIM. Together with his team, Nima leads to benefit our clients, on a commercial and legal standpoint, offering a truly innovative approach to secure duty holder liabilities ensuring the team collaborate in designing out risk.
